Operated by the City's Bureau of Cultural Affairs, it's open for business seven-days a week, 24 hours a day, giving information about visual and fine art events in about 50 categories. The number is 404-853-3278, then hit 1 (theatre), 2 (music), 3 (dance), 4 (film & literary events), 5 (visual arts, galleries & museums), 6 (festivals, kids events, classes & workshops, special populations info), 7 (an artists' billboard for working artists), or 8 (a section to hear both excerpts of performances and messages left by callers.)

  • High Museum of Art -- The High is named for Mrs. Joseph High, who had donated her Peachtree home for the original museum.
