  • Atlanta Lyric Theatre -- Formerly, "Savoyards Musical Theatre Company", it does musicals, sometimes at the Robert Ferst Center for the Arts at Georgia Tech, and sometimes at The Byers Studio Theatre at The Lyric. For directions to either, visit the website below. 404-377-9948.

  • Atlanta Symphony -- The regular Master Season performances of this award-winning ensemble take place in Symphony Hall in the Woodruff Arts Center complex. Still, there are plenty of other places to see the Symphony throughout the year, including the Summer Pops series backing up big-name entertainers at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre, and free Summerfest concerts in local parks during summer.   • Ballethnic -- Or "Ethnic Ballet," performed mostly at the Dean Dull Theatre, Ferst Center for the Arts at Georgia Tech. 404-762-1416.

  • Chastain Park Amphitheatre -- Summer rock/country concert series under the stars ("Atlanta Concerts"), as well as a series of concerts presented by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra ("Classic Chastain").
